Old system ID stored in memory?

I have a client who claims that his old system ID is being displayed on an irregular basis although he has upgraded the system. He says that system ID keeps changing when he tries to install the program.

Any ideas?

Are you using the MAC address for computing the system ID?

No. I’m using the combination of the two previous options.

My client says that the issue is happening on a couple of their PCs.

Here is the exact message:

“We seem to be having a few problems with the latest build of Colourful Solutions. It keeps asking for the license and each time it does it the system ID is different. It keeps alternating between my original system ID and the the one for the old version 2. I even think I have had to put in the code for Doug’s laptop as well. Any idea what might be causing this? Thanks.”

My feeling is that they should remove all stored information and re-register the software, but I don’t know how they can do it.

Cheers,

Charco

PS Colourful Solutions is the name of the eBook
