Upgrading a complied Excel file

Hi,

Once I publish a complied Excel file locked to the Hardware and I make changes to it and recompile - can the client download the latest version and keep the original activation key? Will the software stay activated for the days remaining if originally locked to say 365 days or do I need to set it up to have a manual date validity?

Yes, the original activation key will remain functional unless you change the Application Master Key in your XLS Padlock’s project.
