Can html executable play audio files? In what format? MP3? OGG? WAV? If so, would I use metatags like this:
audio autoplay=“autoplay” controls=“controls” in brackets?
If so, then I just hyperlink to my audio file, correct?

Yes, audio formats are supported through Flash, Silverlight or third-party applications.
