PB timestamp sha2

I have PB installed on Win 8 trying to get the timestamp to work with sha2.

Do I need to include signtool arguments ie:
/tr http://timestamp.geotrust.com/tsa /td sha256 or

just the URL: http://timestamp.geotrust.com/tsa ?

When do you anticipate 3.5 becoming available?
Is there a workaround in the meantime?
