Hi GDG, I have upgraded and compiled one of my products and it appears to be working fine! The popup isues do not occur and it seems that Windows 8 is not having issues either. Good work!

The popup issue was with HEscript not allowing me to use popups from the toolbar buttons. If this is now resolved then I will upgrade.

According to my client she has all of the updates - so she should be running the latest version.

I have a client who is complaining that the ebooks do not work properly in windows 8 - all of the flash files do not show up although she has flash updated in the PC. Also the PDF popups are not functional. The compilations rely heavily on flash. What advice can I offer? Charco

Update: It seems that Norton has added the builds as exception to their AV database. The tests analysed in VirusTotal online come up clean on all counts. I have also been able to download and open builds to systems protected with Norton endpoint.

Is there no way that GDG could contact Norton to explain this situation. After all you compile and market the software that is causing the problem. Norton offer a whitelisting service for commercial applications. Can you not discuss including GDG software and their products in Norton’s whitelist?
