Avoiding Security barriers

I am trialling XLS padlock. I am uploading the workbook to Dropbox and then getting colleagues to access the workbook. All are unable to access due to their security protection software (Norton and others).

This means that the customer has to disable their security sw to download/access the workbook. Is there a way to avoid this inconvenience?

The best official way is what is recommended for any EXE distribution: code signing. By code signing your EXE files, you’ll gain trust from antivirus software and your customers. Because this is a certification that the EXE is coming from you and that it hasn’t been tampered.
XLS Padlock can code sign EXE files produced, but you’ll have to purchase a code signing certificate from an authority such as Comodo.
