Can i use Activexcontrols?

I am trying a javascript to open, read and write the files. The publication is IEPublication and i am using activexcontrols to get the functionality. I am able to open, read and write the files. Just wanted to check if Activexcontrols for javascripts are supported by htmlexe 4.1 and are there any issues if i use Activexcontrols.

ActiveX controls are normally supported (for instance, see http://www.htmlexe.com/help/faq-fsoXMLDOMsupport.htm), although some security restrictions could apply sometimes… There is no official list, so I can’t tell you more.
If you can’t get a specific ActiveX control to work, please post the error in this forum.
