Can Individual File Pieces Be Edited

I’ve used Gsplit to break down a large 10 GB SQL script file into multiple smaller file pieces, and was hoping to be able to open each individual file piece in a text editor to work on the contents. But when I open each file piece, the contents aren;t visible as plain text.

Is there any way to di this using Gsplit ?

In GSplit, be sure to disable the option for adding piece headers to your piece files.
