Is there is a way to completely hide "FILE" tab and the "Status bar"?

Happy Tuesday!
I had a student who is wanting to know if there’s a way to completely hide the File ribbon and the status bar entirely in order to give the appearance that this is a standalone application, independent of Excel vba.

I’m curious if this can be done in a future revision myself, but I don’t think this is probably a ready feature yet.

No, this is not possible (yet). We’ll check whether File can be hidden. Status bar no.

It’s possible using VBA code.
