For the Web Updates, XLS Padlock asks for the Local Destination Folder Where Web Updates File Will Be Placed.

Is this field required, because each user keeps their file in a different location?
 
The Local Destination Folder is where XLS Padlock will place its files on your computer and not on end user’s one. These files are the ones that you will upload to your server so that the application can download them for checking for new updates.
