Possible compatibility issue with the new Excel version

Hi Support,

One of my customers is reporting he cannot open the EXE file, he is getting the error message below:


He is using the very latest version of Excel released a couple of weeks ago: 1907 (build 11901.20218)
His Windows 10 version is 1903 (OS Build 18362.295).
The EXE was created using 2019.0 XLS Padlock
Would that be a compatibility issue?

It depends. Which Excel version did you use to create the workbook?

I created the EXE using Excel 2007.

Could be the reason. First, make sure you are using the SP3 version of Excel 2007.
