I am still gaining experience with VBA for Excel and am evaluating XLS Padlock for purchase - sorry if this is a simple question. I could not find it within the other forum topics.
My application makes VBA calls to the Solver Add-in.
When I first began working with Solver, I had to ‘Enable’ it by going through the Options/Add-Ins/Manage Add-Ins path. Will my end users be required to enable the Solver add-in manually, or does the executable deploy with the Solver Add-In enabled? (assuming I leave the “Allow common add-ins…” check box checked)
If Solver does not deploy automatically with the executable, do you have a script that can enable it so that the end user does not need to?
