Textbox not responsive after compilation

Hi,

I’m testing XLS Padlock and it seems like i’m facing an issue after compiling the excel file.
My excel file contains text boxes that are linked to particular cells and display their content.
The idea is the same as below:


When I run my original excel file, everything works great and when I update the cell, the content displayed in the text box changes accordingly. However, once the spreadsheet is compiled with XLS Padlock, the text boxes seem to become inactive (i.e. they don’t change at all, even if the underlying value in the linked cell has changed).

Is it a known issue? Is there a way around it?

Can you try to activate the following option to see if it solves your problem?

The problem still remains even with this option activated

Did you use some protection feature to protect the cells linked to your textbox?

I faced the same issue. Upon investigation I realised after compilation, the formula in text box is disappeared making it non-responsive.

Any solution?

And of course “Use Excel Automation for formula protection” don’t solve it.
