Unexpected error while loading protected workbook: Violation address 00000678

My client received this error when trying to open the secured workbook.

The workbook is developed using Windows 7 : Excel 2010 and the user has windows 10 Excel 2013. Any idea what’s going on in here?

Which Excel version are you using? And is your customer working with the latest updates/SP of Excel 2013?

I am using Excel 2010 and the customer is working with the updated Excel 2013

Could you ask your customer to try if his problem occurs with our demo workbook too?
