Website payment methods OVERcharging?

Hi there,

Why is it that the price of the software is $99.95 but when I tried to pay, both sites were wanting about $120 please ? Can I pay you direct to your Paypal maybe ? Those payment sites are a ripoff. I raised the money to get your software on my stream tonight and they both want a LOT more than the actual cost.

I just had a thought - It’s not trying to charge me VAT (Value Added Tax) is it ? I’m in the UK so I don’t pay French VAT (as the UK is no longer in the EU and is therefore exempt). If any taxes ARE due, then they are payable to UK Tax Office.

You are correct that post-Brexit, customers from the UK are no longer subject to French VAT. Any VAT or taxes due would indeed be payable to the UK Tax Office. So that’s why our e-commerce vendor collects VAT from you to transfer it then to the UK Tax Office.
