Why Is Activation Key Different Each Time For Same Computer?

Hello:
When I generate a hardware-locked activation key, even with all the same settings, it seems to generate a different activation key for the same computer. For example, I will enter a System ID, then click Generate Key. I will close the application, re-open it using the same “profile”, and it generates a different key. Why?

This is the normal behavior. There is a random part for generating activation keys so they are different each time you make a new one. This doesn’t alter the hardware-locking behavior.
