    Excel seems to have stoped

I’m getting the same issue. on Excel 365 and the current version of XLS. It only happens the first time I load the program after a reboot. Then, it doesn’t happen again unless I reboot. Does somebody have an answer?

Allow Edit Range Excel function no longer secure when using 2022.1

While traveling, developing with Excel 365 (instead of Excel 2019). Applied edit ranges and protected worksheet. Ranges definitely remain password protected in xlsm. Created .exe User is able to edit all ranges without any password. This is serious because it removes an important level of...

Startup doesn't provide option of a recent save; choose save file uses obsolete directory

Appreciate whatever you can do. We’re going to distribute to two large management companies and we start training in about a week. I’m happy to beta-test if that would help. Steve Glanstein +1 (808) 423-6766 [email protected] Notice: This e-mail message is for the sole use of the intended...

Startup doesn't provide option of a recent save; choose save file uses obsolete directory

Point 1: Was using the Universal EXE and it grayed out the “Load a recent save”. When I tried “64 bit only”, it came back. This will be a problem for 32 bit clients. I did receive the prepublic pre-release of XLS Padlock 2022. I removed completely, rebooted, and did a fresh install of the...

Startup doesn't provide option of a recent save; choose save file uses obsolete directory

We’re on the 2022 release of XLS padlock. When I start up the .exe program I have two issues: The “Load a recent save” is grayed out, even if the spreadsheet was previously saved. When I select “Choose Save File” the directory displayed is not the directory of the .exe file; it is one I saved...

Is there any way we could include the custom information when we generate the activation key from the desktop? That would also be so helpful.

EXE just stopped working on Windows/11 with Office 365

Hello, We can’t control the Microsoft software in the field. We can insist on a minimum Excel level but there could be 100 computers out there with Excel 2016, 2019, and 365. How can we make the .exe file work with all versions of Office 365? Steve Glanstein +1 (808) 423-6766 [email protected]

Saving existing workbook -> Save As

Right click on the .exe file. If there’s a “Digital Signature” tab, you have a digital signature. Click on Digital Signatures, then click on one of the signers (If set up with XLSPadlock, you should have SHA-1 and SHA-256) You should get the certificate information if it’s there. Then click...

    Workbook Loading Error

Hello, Have to agree with you that it is an Excel 2013 problem. I made a very simple spreadsheet (dropbox link below). It only had some text and one shape, i.e. a QR code.
