I need to be able to control my protected spreadsheet from a dotNET program (data server).
I can easily start a new instance of Excel, open the spreadsheet, then control it from the server.
How can I still do that with XLS Padlock in between ?

You should still be able to do it if you don’t use the advanced protection features of XLS Padlock. OLE control is still allowed in that case.
