Linking XLS PADLOCK Protected Workbook to MS Access Database

I have tried xls padlock and i am impressed with it features and values one can derive from it. However I am still having issues with linking the workbook protected by xls padlock with MS Access Database to generate report. I have been doing with the unprotected workbooks without any problem but now it is giving error message that the file is not in expected format.

I will appreciate productive assistance in this regard.

Do you mean Access can’t have access to the protected workbook? Have you checked the option in XLS Padlock to prevent loading/saving other workbooks?
