Introducing Paquet Builder 2025.2 with Key Enhancements and Fixes
We’re pleased to announce that Paquet Builder 2025.2 is now available. This update delivers some improvements and bug fixes listed below.
Key Highlights
Improved Project Handling
- UTF-8 Project Saving:
Projects created with older versions are now consistently saved in UTF-8 format, ensuring improved compatibility across environments.
Enhanced Display and Functionality
- Unicode Emoticon Display Fixed:
Resolved issues with Unicode encoding for emoticons in dialog boxes for correct display. - Sleep Custom Action Bug Fix:
The Sleep custom action now functions properly with the new C compiler.
Updated Error Reporting and Filtering
- SignTool Error Reporting Update:
Instead of showing an intrusive error message when SignTool is not found, a notification now appears in the status bar. - Enhanced WebUpdate Filtering:
Items intended exclusively for 64-bit (and 32-bit) systems are now properly filtered.
New Deployment Feature
- Silent Installation Option:
A new silent installation mode for Paquet Builder itself has been introduced. Note that installers made with Paquet Builder can be silent too.
Additional Fixes and Optimizations
- Various minor bugs have been fixed and performance optimizations implemented.
