What sequence for using keys

I dont understand how to use the keys in proper sequence. Theres the:
Application master key
Output activation key
Security private key
Application secret key
Application GUID(whatever that is).

Im just trying an excel protected workbook, that cant be shared on other computers.

So what? It’s just their protocol for the protection features, just follow the instructions like everyone else does, dummy

The documentation is terrible. Its onesided backdoor oriented. I have no idea when i make a change how it affects the frontdoor( what the custmer sees or has to do). Imo

Their ‘Protocol’ meaning it is simply what they need to produce the program.
As far as their ‘front door’ - you can try the compiled worksheet yourself after you compile it.

Sure, the program could be better explained, but at least you can click on the i (info) next to the field for more info.
Basically you just need to read a tiny bit of their User Manual, and then try a few of their settings, and your good to go.

The only other alternative I know of would be ‘DoneEx’ (I’ve used them in the past and it’s much simpler) but then you’re stuck having to send clients an .exe file for a key
(and that’s a nightmare now because all email systems and computers treat an exe as virus and want to block it).

- good luck

Thank you for the reply. But, if their user manual is so easy, then why did GDGsupport just send me to a link to take a course for $44??

Yep that was weird (take a course to set some checkboxes? – yikes!)

I never even read their manual except for afterwards (after I was done compiling) to see if there was anything that I missed or that I could tweak…

One thing I did find impossible to use is their ecommerce stuff.
I was hoping that I could auto-send keys (after a client purchase) and then manage users (turn them On or Off)
It was one of the reasons I bought this, but nope – it was way too hard for me to comprehend so I just gave up.
